The entire Mass is narrated in English by Archbishop John Foley; students participate from the North American College in Rome. Father Michael Manning, S.V.D., provides both an introduction and an epilogue to the Mass. With each videotape, you also get a free Christmas Missal with Latin and English texts, even some music for the Gregorian Chant which is part of the celebration.

The accompanying Christmas Missal includes the Latin texts sung in the Mass, as well as music from the Missa de Angelis, sung by the choir and people: the entrance antiphon, Dixit Dominus, the Sanctus, the Agnus Dei, and the solemn dismissal, Ite, missa est. The Communion songs are Adeste, Fideles and Silent Night. The Christmas art for the missal is taken from the Roman Missal and other sources; it is inspiring in itself.
The videotape is packaged in a sturdy white case, with a full-color photo of Pope John Paul on the front cover. It is a high-quality, VHS tape.
This is truly an heirloom, to be watched over and over again! It would be an excellent gift for someone who is shut-in, elderly, or handicapped. It would be an ideal Christmas gift for anyone.
